Gapminder founders win the Corporate Learning Leonardo Award 2016
We are delighted to announce that the Gapminder Foundation has been awarded the Crossing Borders Leonardo Award 2016.
“The Crossing Borders category puts emphasis on outstanding new developments that provoke a fundamental challenge to predominant mind-sets with an effect on corporate learning.”
The three founders, Hans Rosling, Ola Rosling and Anna Rosling Rönnlund were selected by the jury because of their “inspiring driving force that makes us all look differently at the facts of life. Their ability to highlight the people behind the numbers, visuals and animations is astonishing.”
The Leonardo Award is given annually by the HRM Research Institute in Mannheim, Germany in cooperation with the EU, the German Foreign Ministry and UNESCO.
